On cryptocurrency exchanges, the funds in each trading account are separated independently. Different trading accounts are similar to having multiple bank cards—one card might be used for regular savings, while another is dedicated to investments. "Fund Transfer" is similar to transferring money between bank cards.
Before trading futures on XT, you need to ensure that your futures account has sufficient funds. You can transfer funds from your spot account to your futures account through the “Transfer” option. You can also choose to “Deposit” directly into your futures account.
How to View Futures Account Funds
Go to the XT official website, select Funds > Futures to access the futures account page.
On the futures account page, you can view your USDT-Margined Futures and Coin-Margined Futures assets.
How to Transfer Funds to a Futures Account
If you have funds in your spot account, you can select the Transfer option.
Choose the cryptocurrency you want to transfer, enter the amount, and click to confirm the transfer.
Note: Fund transfers between accounts are processed in real-time.
How to Deposit Funds into a Futures Account
You can also choose to deposit funds directly into your futures account. On the futures account page, select Deposit to enter the deposit page.
Choose your deposit Token and network, and select the option to deposit to your Futures account.
