I. What situations will lead to failed copy trading?
A: The following situations will lead to failed copy trading for you:
- Insufficient copy-trading margin, order amount less than the minimum opening amount, etc.;
- When the order of the trader is pending and not fully filled, the follower cannot copy the trade;
- When the market slippage exceeds the maximum slippage limit;
- When the balance of the copy-trading margin is lower than the minimum amount of 10 USDT and there are 20 consecutive failed copy-trading attempts, the copy will be canceled;
- The platform has now launched the Smart Copy Trading mode, which supports following the trader's existing positions. In the Custom Copy Trading mode, it is still not possible to directly follow the trader's existing positions; copying will only occur when the trader opens a new position;
- When the copy-trading price deviates from the trader's price by 0.0500, the trading won't be copied.
- Insufficient account funds;
- Not choosing the trading pair provided by the trader;
- The copy-trading margin exceeds the maximum copy-trading amount limit set by the follower;
- The current copy-trading quantity exceeds the maximum opening quantity of the current leverage multiple;
- The nominal value of copy trading is less than the minimum nominal value of the current trading pair.
II. Is the minimum copy-trading amount the same for each currency?
A: Currently, for all copy-trading currencies, the minimum copy-trading margin amount is 10 USDT, and the maximum copy-trading amount is 200,000 USDT.
III. What are the requirements to become a trader?
A: Complete identity verification, have at least 100 USDT in your futures account, and upload a three-month earnings screenshot to prove your trading strength.
IV. If I'm currently in the process of copy-trading, can I change the copy-trading method?
A: During the copy-trading process, changing the mode is not supported. You need to cancel copy-trading and then set your new copy-trading method (such as fixed margin/multiplier/ proportional copy). Then the subsequent copy-trading will use the new method.
V. Can a trader share a link to invite friends to copy trade?
A: You can directly share the link with friends, or you can activate the private follow feature to share the link with specific friends, inviting them to follow your trades. Additionally, you can set the profit-sharing ratio for that link.
VI. Why was the position closed without the stop-profit or stop-loss being triggered?
A: If the stop-profit/stop-loss set by the trader you are following is triggered to close the position before your stop-profit/stop-loss setting, then your stop-profit/stop-loss setting will be invalid, and the position will be closed in advance.
VII. How many traders can a follower follow at one time?
A: A follower can follow 20 traders. If you have followed 20 traders and still want to follow a new one, you need to cancel following one of the current traders first.
VIII. Why is my opening price different from the trader's after following them?
A: This is a rare occurrence that can happen when trading less liquid cryptocurrencies. Due to the limited liquidity of these altcoins, the following orders are executed at market prices, which can result in slippage, leading to discrepancies in open prices.
IX. Why does the trader make a profit while the follower incurs a loss?
A: This happens because in custom mode, followers choose to follow with a fixed margin/multiplier/ proportional copy method. If the follower decides to close the position earlier or increases leverage on their own, they might end up with a loss. The platform suggests setting a stop-loss amount before placing an order to manage your copy-trading risk effectively.
X. Why is my margin ratio different from the trader's in proportional copy mode?
A: Proportional copy mode means that the follower's position uses the same percentage of available margin as the trader's.
For example: If the lead trader uses 10% of their available margin for opening a position, and you have 100 USDT available, your copy position would use 10 USDT.
However, if you transfer funds out of your futures account, it will also affect your copy ratio.
XI. Why is there a big difference between the estimated profit-sharing and the actual profit-sharing?
A: The actual profit-sharing is calculated after deducting losses and transaction fees, and it is only settled for closed positions. Some open positions are not included in the profit-sharing calculation at 24:00. The prerequisite for profit-sharing is that there is no copy-trading relationship between the follower and the trader, meaning all follow orders must be closed. The actual profit-sharing settlement involves calculating the profit or loss (after fees) for each follow order by the follower, and summing these up within the settlement period.
The estimated profit share is calculated by the backend system for each profitable transaction made by the follower (without considering fees), where a portion of the profit is pre-allocated according to the profit-sharing ratio. The trader's estimated profit share displayed is the sum of the estimated profit for all current orders. If the user incurs a loss, the estimated profit share will decrease.
If the actual profit received by the trader is less than the amount pre-deducted by the system, the excess will be refunded to the follower.
