A: Completing KYC verification improves account security. Users who complete KYC have access to higher daily withdrawal limits, legal transactions, and P2P merchant features. Q: How to complete KYC verification on XT website
A: Step 1:
Visit the XT website at https://www.xt.com, login, and click on 'Personal Center' in the top right corner. Select 'KYC Verification'.
Step2:
Here you can see your authentication status, like KYC verification and business authentication. Before starting with the authentication process, select your country/region. XT offers the Sumsub or manual channel. Refer to the prompts on the page to determine your authentication method. Make sure the information you provide matches the information on your ID documents.
Step 3:
Click on 'To Verify' to complete KYC verification.
Step 4:
We will first go over steps for the 'Webpage Sumsub Channel'. If Sumsub is not available in your country or region, find the steps for the 'Manual Channel' option.
Webpage Sumsub Channel
- After completing the third step, the system will prompt you to provide ID documents and complete a live check. You can either 'Continue on this device' or 'Continue on mobile'.
- Select the type of identification document and the issuing country/region.
- Prepare to upload your documents. Tip: Upload color photos without editing the images.
- Upload photos of both sides of your document and then click 'Continue'.
- The system will guide you through a live check. Select 'Continue' or 'Continue on mobile'.
- Position your face on the screen. Do not wear hats, glasses, or masks and make sure the room you are in is well lit.
- Follow the green indicator and slowly rotate your head.
A confirmation message will appear if your data was uploaded successfully. Please wait for the review process to complete.
Avoid refreshing the browser while the verification process is taking place. You can try the Sumsub channel verification three times. If rejected three times, we will complete a manual review for you. Please be patient during this process.
Webpage Manual Channel Instructions:
After clicking 'To Verify' in the previous step, choose your document type, real name, and document number. Follow the on-screen instructions to upload photos of your document and a verification video.
A verification code will be sent to your email. Type the code and click 'Confirm'.
Next you will see the KYC Verification page. Your information will undergo review at this time. XT will finish the verification process within 2 days.
Please wait for XT to review your information. If approved, you will be notified by email or internal message.
Q: How to complete KYC verification on XT APP
A: Step1:
Log in to the XT.COM mobile app and click on the top left corner to access the personal center.
Step 2:The personal center page will say 'Not Verified' at the top. Click on the arrow icon to the right.
Step 3:
Click on 'Identity Verification'.
Step 4:
Choose your country/region from the options on your screen. Different countries/regions have different limits and authentication channels. XT.COM supports the Sumsub or manual channels. Refer to the prompts to determine which verification method to use. Make sure the information you enter matches the information on your ID documents.
Step 5:
First, let's go over the verification steps using the 'APP Sumsub Channel'. If Sumsub verification is not
available in your country or region, please refer to the steps for verification using the 'APP Manual Channel'.
APP Sumsub Channel
Choose your place of residence and click on 'verify now'.
- Select the issuing country/region and document type.
- Follow the steps listed to upload photos of your ID document.
- Place your face in the circle. Avoid wearing hats and glasses and make sure the room you are in is well lit.
- Please wait for the system to complete the data upload process. Do not refresh the app at this time.
- You can try the Sumsub channel verification up to 3 times before manual review.
APP Manual Channel
After selecting your country/region, proceed to the KYC verification page. Provide your details in order and click 'Next'.
- Follow the instructions to upload photos of your ID document and the verification video.
- When recording the video, read the numbers on the page. Upload the video in MP4, OGG, WEBM, 3GP, or MOV format. Make sure the video size is no more than 50 MB.
- After recording, a verification code will be sent to your email. Enter the code and click 'Confirm'.
Please be patient after completing the steps. When approved, you will be notified via email or internal message.
