What are the risks associated with contracts in the Perpetual Innovation Zone?
While the Innovation Zone offers projects with enticing potential for high returns and early trading opportunities, it's crucial to recognize the heightened risks involved, including:
- Severe Market Fluctuations: Prices may experience sharp movements in a short period.
- Total Loss of Value: Contracts may depreciate entirely, resulting in the risk of investment loss.
- Market Liquidity Issues: Some projects might have inadequate liquidity, making it challenging to execute buy or sell orders or leading to slippage after order execution.
Example 1:
A user selects the ATHUSDT perpetual contract trading pair in the innovation zone and decides to open a long position with 1,000 USDT. The latest transaction price on the order book is 0.03741 USDT. However, due to insufficient liquidity on the opposing side (sell side), the user’s order can only be fully executed by reaching the fourth level of the order book, resulting in a final execution price of 0.03755 USDT.
Example 2: A user holds a position of 100 Cont ATHUSDT perpetual contracts. At the market's latest transaction
price of 0.03828 USDT, the unrealized profit and loss (PnL) displayed in the position area is 0.2 USDT. The user
plans to close the position at market price. However, due to insufficient liquidity for this trading pair, the final
execution price is 0.03823 USDT, resulting in a closing PnL of -0.54 USDT. As this pair is in the Innovation Zone,
XT is not responsible for any price fluctuations or slippage.
- Delisting Risk: XT reserves the right to delist projects in the Innovation Zone if they pose excessive risks to traders. Your trading opportunities may be limited once the project is delisted.
Please note that XT assumes no responsibility for any losses incurred from trading in the Innovation Zone. You are advised to thoroughly evaluate all project details and risks, and make investment decisions that align with your financial means and risk tolerance.
