XT Smart Portfolio User Guide
What is XT Smart Portfolio?
How It Works
- If a coin‘s value rises above its target allocation, the system automatically sells the excess amount.
- If a coin's value falls below its target, the system automatically buys more to restore the balance.
Strategy Logic
- Set Portfolio: Choose coins and assign target allocations (e.g., BTC 50%, ETH 50%).
- System Monitoring: Track actual vs. target allocations in real time.
- Trigger Rebalance: When deviations exceed thresholds, sell over-weighted coins and buy under-weighted coins.
- Restore Balance: After rebalancing, allocations return to target proportions.
- Continuous Loop: The strategy keeps running, repeatedly rebalancing as the market moves.
Best Use Cases
- Long-term holders: Believe in multiple coins’ long-term value and want optimized allocations in volatility.
- Diversified investors: Want to maintain fixed asset allocation ratios.
- Volatile markets: Frequent fluctuations can trigger multiple rebalances to capture profits.
Advantages
- Automatically implements “buy low, sell high” without manual intervention.
- Reduces risk through diversified allocations.
- Accumulates returns in volatile markets via repeated rebalancing.
- Encourages disciplined investing, avoiding emotional decisions.

FAQs
Q: How is the minimum investment calculated?
Q: Why hasn’t my Smart Portfolio rebalanced?
- Deviation hasn’t reached the threshold: One or more coins haven’t moved enough to trigger a rebalance.
- Scheduled rebalance hasn’t occurred yet: If you’re using Scheduled Rebalancing Mode, you’ll need to wait for the next scheduled interval.
- Order amount too small: The rebalance amount is below the exchange’s minimum trade size (usually 5 USDT), so the system can’t execute it.
Q: When is Smart Portfolio best used?
- Long-term holders: You believe in the long-term value of major cryptocurrencies such as BTC and ETH.
- Volatile or range-bound markets: Frequent price fluctuations allow the strategy to rebalance multiple times and capture incremental gains.
- Diversified investment needs: You want to maintain a stable asset allocation across multiple coins.
Q: How to reduce risk?
- Set reasonable stop-loss levels to limit losses during extreme market conditions.
- Focus on major, high-liquidity coins you believe in long term.
- Avoid allocating all your funds to a single strategy.
- Adjust target allocations as market conditions change.
Q: Which one is better: Proportional or Scheduled Rebalancing?
A: Both have advantages depending on your strategy and market conditions.
| Mode | Pros | Cons | Best For |
| Proportional | Responds quickly to market movements and captures rebalance opportunities in real time | May rebalance frequently during high volatility | Investors looking to actively capture gains from market fluctuations |
| Scheduled | Predictable rebalance frequency and easier fee planning | May miss optimal rebalance timing | Long-term, steady investors |
